Housing Services
A Safe Place to Start Over
Our housing programs provide more than shelter — intensive case management, wraparound support services, and a clear path to permanent independence for Utah County residents.
Our Approach
Housing Is the Foundation
For more than 30 years, Food & Care Coalition has provided housing because we know that nothing else — not employment, not sobriety, not health — holds together without a stable place to live. When someone has their own space, they can plan. They can sleep. They can start again.
We operate two distinct programs: an on-site Transitional Housing Program for individuals working toward independence, and Candlelight Villas, 72 units of permanent supportive housing. Together, they form a continuum — from a safe first step to a lasting home.

Two Programs, One Continuum
Our Housing Programs

On-site · Private furnished units · Case management included
Transitional Housing Program
Our on-site Transitional Housing Program provides private furnished units on our Provo campus — designed for individuals who need structure, support, and time to stabilize. This is our most case management–intensive program: residents meet regularly with a dedicated case manager, set concrete goals, and access the full range of Coalition services on their path to permanent housing.

72 units · 1-bedroom apartments · Permanent housing
Candlelight Villas
Opened in 2022, Candlelight Villas is a community of 72 permanent supportive housing apartments that is located behind our main campus. Each unit is a fully furnished, private 1-bedroom apartment. Residents receive ongoing case management and connect with on-site partners Wasatch Behavioral Health and My Story Matters, and partner the VA.
