Alan and Audrey Anderson and Kori Downing We are privileged to honor Allan & Audrey Anderson and Kori & Ken Downing as our 2006 Volunteers of the Year. Kori (Allan & Audrey’s daughter) and Ken have lived next door to them for many years. They and their families and sometimes friends have been longtime dedicated volunteers for Food & Care Coalition. They have helped with meal service in a big way. They have taken on the responsibility of cooking and managing the lunch time meal each first and fifth Sunday of every month. They have contributed not only their time, but also their resources. They make sure there are enough volunteers to do what needs to be done. For several years, they also picked up donations from Sam&s Club, which greatly helped with our meal program. They are advocates for the mission of Food & Care Coalition. Our organization and patrons are the beneficiaries of the generosity, dedication, and talents of the Andersons and Downings. We thank them!
