"There is no higher religion than human service. To work for the common good is the highest creed."
~Woodrow Wilson

Nan has been actively involved with feeding the hungry for several years. She started volunteering at the Food Bank years ago and then began working with the Food and Care Facility after our new building opened. Nan is no stranger to serving in the community. She has worked with Bible studies and activities for inmates at Slate Canyon youth detention facility, summer programs for youth and children, weekly Bible studies for men and women, and with Financial Peace University to help train individuals in sound financial principles. Members of the Center Point Church have been actively involved with many aspects of the Food and Care Coalition, including serving and preparing meals and helping with our Bowls for Humanity fundraiser. They are currently in the process of building a new facility on Sandhill Road in Orem, providing them with a greater amount of space for worship services and community activities. When asked why she got involved with the Food and Care Coalition, Nan writes "I wanted to help out--have had a heart for the needy for a long time. Now I have made dear friends with other workers."
