Three years ago Sunshine felt the need to help others and
began searching the internet for an organization where she could volunteer.
Luckily for us, she found the Food & Care Coalition and hasn't looked back.
She has been a dedicated lunchtime volunteer and also helps out with breakfast
and sack lunch donations. She, along with her husband, also volunteers at the
annual Share-A-Smile Foundation triathlon, an event organized to raise money
for dental supplies and charitable dental work. She says that the best thing
about serving at the FACC is the people that she has met and the friendships
she has made. A music lover, if she could live during any time period she'd go
back to the 60's where she could get her fill of Beatles music!
