"There is no higher religion than human service. To work for the common good is the highest creed."

Groundbreaking

Sam Ferrin, General Manager of Last Chance Department Store Outlet, has been a compassionate volunteer on many levels. In September at our 2nd Annual Family Fun Day, Sam and staff gave each client brand new sweaters, shirts and zip off pants. Sam and staff have spent countless hours sorting clothing, shoes and household goods for the homeless and less fortunate. FACC is sponsoring a clothing distribution day in January to the needy in our community, thanks to Sam's generosity and hard work. Sam's generosity doesn't stop there. He has also hired one of FACC's long time elderly clients. This client is trying to get back on his feet while staying in the shelter in Salt Lake City. He takes the bus daily to Provo to report to work. Sam is making a difference and we appreciate his dedication and compassionate attitude to our clients and community.
