Homeless and low income individuals 18 and older who do not qualify for Medicaid, Medicare or a regular insurance plan, can have their primary health and dental care needs met through the Primary Care Network (PCN). To qualify for PCN, a client must apply through the Department of Workforce Services and pay a $50.00 yearly fee (this fee may be waiver or reduced for clients of the FACC). Specialized care us also available with a doctor's referral or at Community Health Connect (dental needs only).
Additionally, the Utah County Health Department provides a wide range of preventive care services such as immunizations, health screenings and general information pamphlets. These services are either free or offered on a sliding scale free basis. BYU Nursing and the Utah County Health Department also provide Hepatitis, Pneumonia, and Tetanus shot clinics on a regular basis at the Food & Care Coalition. Contact the front desk for upcoming vaccinations and dates.
