"There is no higher religion than human service. To work for the common good is the highest creed."
~Woodrow Wilson
Groundbreaking

Piloted as the first mentor program in Utah County in 1989, the Mentor Advocate Program, otherwise known as MAP, has sought to empower clients, alter community perceptions of the homeless, and meet essential human needs. Its simplistic design is to link community mentors as sponsors to clients who need support, direction, and love. Mentors offer friendship, guidance and support, aiding each client in reaching their personal best potential.
The Food & Care Coalition is always in need of good people who are willing to share their knowledge and expertise to assist clients in navigating a very complex network of social services.
Anyone interested can contact Lynn or e-mail him at lynnc@foodandcare.org.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor you can initiate the process by downloading our mentor application now. Please mail or email your name, address, and phone number so we can contact you about a preliminary interview.
